Design Students at Lake Brantley High Design Principal's New Office

Ms. Moran-Peebles' interior design class at Lake Brantley High School was tasked with creating and completing a design renovation for Principal Blasewitz's new office.

Students Lea and Bella were selected by Mr. Blasewitz and Ms. Moran-Peebles as the winning design based on the proofs they included in their design presentation. Once the proposal was approved, they brought their office renderings to life and got to work on updating the space! See the completed office renovation below.

Teacher Appreciation Celebration Event

For the past seven years, the Hindu Education Foundation has been hosting a special event called "Guru Vandana," where students invite a teacher that inspires them to celebrate together. The Guru (Teacher) is held in high esteem in the Hindu culture and the word "Guru” is always expressed with reverence. As a remover of ignorance, through imparting knowledge, the Guru is an integral part of a student’s life.

This event included a wonderful display of celebration and was filled with words of appreciation from the students. Our educators were treated to learning more about their student's culture and served a wonderful meal prepared by parent volunteers.
