SCPS Summer Send-Off

Rising High School Students

As we wind down this school year, our leaders in elementary, middle and high school education have a few words of wisdom to share with rising Kindergartners, rising Middle school students, and rising High school students. They will share tips for parents and students to prepare for the next grade and help students know what to expect on their educational journey.

Teacher Appreciation Week Contest Winners

We had over 100 submissions for our Teacher Appreciation Contest! While only five could win this contest, we know our teachers are amazing and we are so thankful for them. We will be sharing some of our favorite entries in coming weeks.

VPK Graduates Take the Stage


Our littlest learners at Lake Brantley High School had a WILD time at their graduation ceremony on Wednesday, May 10. Mrs. Lesko's Early Childhood Learning students organized the ceremony where they honored their graduating seniors, as well as their class of VPK students they worked with throughout the year.

Seniors Visit Their Old Elementary Schools


Elementary schools across the district welcomed back their seniors who are graduating as the Class of 2023! Seniors had the opportunity to reconnect with their old teachers and walk the halls they filled years ago!

Celebrating 50 Years of Dividends


We celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Dividends program with our incredible school Dividends of the Year who spend countless hours in our schools volunteering their time.


Congratulations to all the selected Adult and Senior Dividends of the Year and the Dividends celebrating milestone levels of volunteer service hours! They bring our programs to the classroom and help support our students and teachers every day.


Thank you to the JET students for providing gifts to the Dividends of the Year! And we'd also like to thank our presenting sponsors, The Miller Group of Keller Williams Heritage Realty, Addition Financial, and The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools for supporting this event. Graduating SCPS Seniors - Free Summer College Class Opportunity at Seminole State

SCPS graduating seniors are invited to get a jumpstart on their college education by taking two classes this summer with no out-of-pocket costs during the Summer B Session from June 21 - Aug. 2. The deadline to submit an interest form and apply is June 1st.


The Summer Bridge program helps first-time-in-college students easily transition to college and develop crucial skills for success.


Whether a student is planning on earning a bachelor's degree, using a university transfer pathway, or just trying to see if college is right for them, the Summer Bridge program can help set them on the right path!

Educational Equity - Notice of Nondiscrimination

  

The Educational Equity Administrator for Seminole County Public Schools has the responsibility of assuring compliance with the educational equity requirements by providing technical expertise, monitoring activities or programs related to compliance, and responding to equity complaints. One of the responsibilities is to administer the Educational Equity Complaint/Grievance Procedures as adopted by the School Board.
