Seminole High Academy of Health Careers Supports Local Event
The Seminole County Academy of Health Careers joined in support of the Ovarian Fitness Orlando event, hosted by national non-profit Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA) and ToTEALly Sisters, a local non-profit gynecological cancer support group. The event was held this past weekend in Lake Nona. This event brings awareness and raises funds for Ovarian and GYN cancers.
For the third year in a row Ms. Bradley, Seminole County of Health Careers Department lead, joined in along with her student volunteers to help ensure the event ran smoothly. This was a great opportunity for these young medical students to see advocacy and community involvement in action.
Ms. Bradley brought student volunteers Aleysha Bello, Makenna Arnott, and Lauren Ansley. These four ladies were instrumental in welcoming participants and getting them checked in and ready for the event. Their dedication, kindness, time, and talent added so much to the event. We love seeing our students and teachers in our communities serving. Way to go!
