SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – As gaming technology evolves at a breathtaking pace across the globe, it will create both challenges and opportunities for industry operators and suppliers. Can regulators and legislators keep pace with these changes? A panel of industry leaders will assemble on August 14-16 to examine the critical integration of new technology and gaming when The Racing and Gaming Conference at Saratoga convenes at the Saratoga Hilton.

With the rapid growth of legalized sports betting, fantasy sports, and igaming over the past decade, the gaming industry has experienced an unprecedented scope of gambling expansion. This expansion – paired with technological advances – has revolutionized how the gambling public spends its dollars.

An expert panel will focus on how gaming companies, legislators, and regulators meet the new legal, policy, and economic challenges. The session, Technology and Gaming: New Challenges, New Solutions, will be moderated by Michael Pollock, Managing Director, Spectrum Gaming Group. Panelists include:

  • Joe Addabbo, Senator and Chair, New York Senate Committee on Racing, Gaming and Wagering.
  • Howard Glasser, Global Head of Government Affairs and Legislative Council, Light & Wonder
  • William Pascrell IV, General Counsel and Head of Regulatory Affairs to the US Market, BetMakers Technology Group
