U.S. Senate Votes to Increase
CARES Act Funding for Small Businesses

Earlier this afternoon, the administration and Congress reached a deal to increase the funding of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) programs under the CARES Act to provide emergency financial relief for small business owners navigating the COVID-19 pandemic. Just moments ago, the U.S. Senate voted to pass the legislation.

Governor Polis Introduces "Safer at Home" Beginning Next Week

Yesterday, Governor Polis introduced "Safer At Home," which will begin next week. He stated that “there are three levels of social distancing, which include: Staying at Home, Safer at Home, and Protect our Neighbors. On April 27, the state will be moving onto the Safer at Home phase.

During this phase Coloradans will no longer be ordered to stay home, but are still strongly encouraged to do so. These policies are still a work in process, and will continue to evolve based on the recommendations of scientists and public health experts.
