Hot Weather Cooling Centers!

The MUST Ministries Hope House is open as a cooling center through Friday, June 27. Cooling center hours are between noon and 6:30 p.m. Clients will receive lunch and dinner before their departure.

The Hope House shelter is located at 1297 Bells Ferry Road, Marietta.

Cobb County Senior Services will partner with the Georgia Council on Aging to host "Engage with Co-AGE" at various centers. The first event will take place

10 - 11 a.m. Thursday, July 10, at C. Freeman Poole Senior Center in Smyrna.

During these informative sessions, residents can learn about recent legislative outcomes that impact seniors healthcare, housing, safety, and rights. They will also hear updates from the Georgia Council on Aging and the Coalition of Advocates for Georgia Elderly. Advance registration is encouraged.
