Summer camp at the Y is more than tie-dye and campfires. It’s a place where kids discover who they are and who they can become.
At YMCA Camp Ingersoll in Portland, we see it every summer:
kids arriving to camp shy and uncertain, leaving confident and connected. Camp is where friendships form, leadership grows, and memories are made.
But not every family can afford to send their child to camp. That’s why we’re asking our community to help.
Your donation helps provide camp scholarships to local youth, giving them access to a place where they can thrive, explore, and belong.
Let’s make sure every kid has the chance to say, “camp changed my life.”
