  • Healing Hearts Ranch has a Horsemanship 101 class on the schedule Thursday evenings starting March 4th at 5:30pm. If you are interested in signing up, click here.


  • Our 2021 EAYPS sessions start Wednesday March 31st!

  • This month we are continuing with our regularly scheduled hippotherapy sessions with soldiers from JBLM's Soldier Recovery Unit. We are planning another session of our 6-week program, The Next Mission, this spring.

  • We are in the process of planning the dates for our next group with Family Recovery Court participants.
Send the herd (or your favorite horse) a Valentine!
This Valentine's Day we hope you will consider sending your favorite equine friend a very special treat! Our horses are the heart of our program and we want to keep them happy and healthy.

The staff would love to see and share special notes to our favorite herd members. You can also send them an item from our Amazon Charity List.

A new adventure for our youth...
Welcome to the herd, Pegasus!
Pegasus was placed with us at the end of January with the help of Hooved Animal Rescue of Thurston County (HARTC)! HARTC also helped get us Lizzy and we are thankful for a continued partnership with them.

Pegasus is a young gelding who had a rough beginning. It is believed he was around younger kids and at one time had been ridden. After being seen by a veterinarian, we now know that he has a degenerative joint disease. We are planning to incorporate Pegasus into our every day programs, but specifically have him in our youth program for the youth to learn about training, general horse care/responsibilities and to work with ground manners and boundaries to ensure one day he can be adopted by a loving home. He is such a sweetheart and we can't wait to see how he blossoms with the help of our youth. Stay tuned for updates!
