As 2017 draws to a close, we at the San Diego Automotive Museum wish you a peaceful and joyous holiday season. It has been an amazing year for us. We celebrated our most successful fundraiser in the museum's history, we won a national award for our exhibit design work, and the number of visitors increased by 10%.
As we continue to make strides forward, we always count on the support of our museum friends to make our work better. One of our special project for 2017 is the remodeling of our upstairs restroom. The current men's room is not a candidate for remodeling, so the ladies room will be rebuilt into a modern single-user, mixed-gender restroom. Current estimates are $15,000 to complete the project. Having a new restroom facility will make it easier to rent space on the mezzanine level and conduct meetings and classes too.
