DOD: Reaching across the entire Coachella Valley
"As Coachella Valley's heath care workers continue to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, the Board of Directors and I have a renewed hope that with each passing month more and more of our dedicated DOD members will receive the vaccine. May your holidays be bright and happy, and all your wishes come true. Most importantly, may you and yours stay well until the time comes that we can once again meet in person."

Dori Smith
DOD Board President
Generosity in Action
“Many, many thanks to all the DOD members and others who donated to our toy/gift/food drive for the Galilee Center in Mecca again this year,” said President Emeritus Robert Westwood. Over 350 toys/gifts, 500+ food items and $400 in donations were collected.
Robert's husband George Garcia collected items from Brandini Toffee and the Desert Palms County Club and delivered the items to Galilee. Marlene and Richard Levine also collected items at their La Quinta home.
