Season's greetings to you and yours!
Hello Friends of HYC,

This past year has brought us unprecedented times with the COVID-19 pandemic. It has impacted everyone but some in more ways than others, such as those who have experienced employment loss and who now face immense financial hardships. Without a doubt, it has been a year of challenges and has affected the mental health and overall well-being of individuals and families.

HYC has been committed to serving children, youth, individuals, and families during this pandemic. We have been unwavering in our work with families during this crisis to ensure that we serve families with vital counseling, treatment, and support services. Many of the services provided in-person were modified to telehealth and teleconference services to ensure families' and staff's safety. The demand for basic needs support has increased as families have been impacted during the crisis.

Since the Safer-At-Home order started in March, HYC has assisted families with the following:

  • Over $80,000 in Rental Assistance
  • Over $11,000 in Utility Assistance
  • Over $24,000 in Gift Cards (for food and other basic needs)
  • Over 20,000 Diapers
  • Over 50,000 Wipes
  • Over 2,500 Food Baskets
  • Over 1,000 Articles of Clothing

HYC is extremely grateful for the support and partnerships that have enabled us to provide these emergency and basic needs, but we need your help to continue this work! The financial impact on many of our donors and the cancellation of our signature Golf Tournament has affected our programs greatly. We ask that you consider contributing today to help us continue serving families with programs and support that are essential during this time. Community is what we are about, and together we can continue making an impact in the lives of children, youth, individuals, and families.
We wish you and your family a safe and happy holiday! We look forward to a hopeful and healthy New Year!
