Recommend a Seneca graduate for the 2025 Premier's Awards

Do you know a fellow Seneca graduate who has achieved outstanding success in their career and made a significant impact in their community?

We are seeking nomination recommendations for the 2025 Premier's Awards, an annual awards event recognizing Ontario college and polytechnic graduates who have made important social and economic contributions in their industry and beyond.

Seneca nominates graduates in the following six categories: Business; Community Services; Creative Arts and Design; Health Sciences; Science, Technology and Engineering; and Recent Graduate.

We would be #SenecaProud to see a Seneca graduate take home a Premier's Award in 2025.t

Alumni business feature: Swob Inc.

Graduates Alexander and Stephanie Florio are the co-founders of Swob Inc., an award-winning social recruitment platform that is transforming the way job seekers and employers connect.

The siblings launched their company in 2017, shortly after they both graduated from Seneca – Stephanie completed the Creative Advertising program, while Alexander studied Sports, Entertainment and Event Marketing.

Swob Inc. uses a mobile-first design that allows users to easily swipe through personalized job matches, cutting out the frustration of endless scrolling and unanswered applications. The free app helps job seekers connect directly with employers who are actively seeking talent across various industries and sectors. Together, they are committed to making the job search process more efficient and accessible.

Support your fellow graduates and download the Swob app today.

Alumni profile: Jannat Bhalla

Technology alumna Jannat Bhalla is a Harry Potter fan who likes to describe cybersecurity as a “cloak of invisibility” for an organization’s data and critical assets.

Ms. Bhalla’s training in information security gave her a strong foundation in the field, but she didn’t expect it would also lead to the removal of her own cloak — that had kept her voice hidden — and guide her toward a deeper understanding of the importance of communication and relationship building.
