50 years of student success: on and off the field
In honour of 50 years of varsity athletics, Seneca students—past and present—came together to create Character, Leadership, Excellence: Varsity Sports at Seneca , a publication celebrating the success Seneca varsity athletes have had in both their academic and athletic careers.

This project is the work of 19 Public Relations – Corporate Communications students, led by Professor Tom Bartsiokas and Michael Maynard, Dean, Faculty of Communication, Art and Design, and Seneca@York Campus Principal. The foreword was written by Linda Stapleton, Director of Sport and Recreation.

The "rainbow effect" of
Vivienne Poy
The Fashion Resource Centre celebrated alumna, the Hon. Dr. Vivienne Poy, through an exhibition of her unique couture knitwear called Vivienne Poy: A Legacy of Fashion, Politics and Philanthropy from May 7 to May 18 .

Thanks to several donations she has made to Seneca since 1992, the Fashion Resource Centre is home to more than 275 examples of her knitwear designs, complete with original patterns.

The third annual Alumni Pay It Forward Challenge concluded on May 31 and 334 alumni stepped up to the challenge to unlock the $30,000 gift from an anonymous supporter. Seneca alumni donors created 91 new $500 Alumni Pay It Forward bursaries for deserving students in financial need.
