Spring Picnic in the Park

Please join us again this year on Tuesday, April 15 at 11:30. The band Forty Years Too Late will be entertaining us again so bring your lawn chairs and your appetite. Our menu will be fried chicken, assorted salads, fruit and chips and assorted cookies for dessert. Please let us know if you need Gluten Free. In case of rain, the event will move inside the West Building. The cost is $10 per person which covers the cost of food and the band. Mother's Day Tea Party

All Senior Adult Ministry Mothers are invited to a tea along with your daughters, daughters-in-law, and your grand- daughters, kindergarten and older. We have planned a very special tea party for you. The event will begin at 11:00 AM and conclude by 1:00 PM. We will be serving sweet and savory treats along with various teas and lemonade. There will be entertainment for all age groups. Please plan to make this a special Mother’s Day Weekend with us. You do not need to respond to this email; a separate invitation will be mailed shortly for signup. Attendance is limited.

LOVE LOCAL

Love Local is LifePark's local outreach event that is all about meeting needs in our community. This event is for groups, families, and individuals who want to join together to partner with local organizations. Volunteers will be able to build and grow relationships with each other, learn about local organizations, and meet needs within our community. April 26 we will be serving at ECCO, Harbor City Church, Windwood Farm, Landmarks for Families and more.

Bi-Monthly Bible Study

We are studying the book of Joshua with a special emphasis on applying biblical truth to our lives. The cost of the lunch is $10 per person. Lunch will begin at 11:45, and the Bible study will start at 12:30. Please register for the course, and we will send out a reminder so you can RSVP for the lunch.

TEA PARTY MINISTRY

On Tuesday March 18, we honored 28 women at Merrill Gardens with a Tea Party. The tables were set with white tablecloths, pink runners and fresh pink hyacinth flowers – all provided by Merrill Gardens. Our guests were served nine different treats with their tea. This is a blessing to meet and visit with these women. One resident, who is one hundred years old, told us she begins each day by counting 15 blessings! Our Life Park ministry has grown to 15 volunteers helping to bring visitation and joy for an afternoon to senior women. These are pictures of the treats we provided to our guests at Merrill Gardens. Do you know of any LifePark ladies that are in an extended care facility in our area? We would love to visit them and try to host a tea party. Ladies Book Club
