Senior Salute

Each week for the rest of the year we are spotlighting our seniors sharing their favorite memories of

Band, Orchestra, Choir and/or Theatre. 

Thank you seniors who have worked hard to be part of our rich traditions over the last four years.

While we were not able to send you off the way we wanted to,

your contributions will last a lifetime.

Orchestra Orlando Travelers:

Our travel agent did her best to recover as much of the trip costs as possible. Not all funds could be recovered. The amount not recovered works out to a $161.42 per person. Chaperone penalty is $107.69.

Online payments less than 180 days old were refunded via our Paypal payment site. It may take up to 5 days to see those refunds.  Older payments (more than 180 days) and payments made with cash or checks were made by check.

Orchestra Information

Current Symphonic Orchestra, Concert Orchestra, and Chamber Orchestra Non-Seniors: your auditions will occur as a playing test submitted to Schoology by Wednesday, May 20th.

Ms. Fortune and a team of students and helpers are planning on an end of the year on-line awards ceremony and celebration. Please stay tuned for more details, but also continue to reserve the concert time of Tuesday, June 2 ^nd , at 7:30 p.m. for when this event will take place. Also, parents interested in volunteering for this event and other plans that are in the works for honoring our amazing orchestra seniors, please reach out by email to Beth Fortune:   eafortune@seattleschools.org

Band Audition Information

Jazz Band auditions are due by Friday, June 5th, either submitted as a video to Schoology or sent as a link to mijames@seattleschools.org. Make sure to fill out and attach or include the completed “Jazz Band Audition Info Sheet” with your videos.

Percussion/Drumline auditions are due on June 7th. Please read Percussion Audition Requirements and Percussion Audition Packet for instructions. Also, please fill out the Percussion/Drumline online form -  https://forms.gle/GmzgvYrRMywogdXc7

Concert Band - All incoming Freshmen wind players are automatically placed into this class. There is no audition necessary to enroll in the Concert Band.   

Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble: S ymphonic and Wind Ensemble Auditions were due on May 24 and students should hear about band placements soon.
