The Colorado Dental Health Care Program for Low-Income Seniors (Senior Dental

Program) grants funds to agencies to provide low-cost dental care to low-income

seniors, age 60 and over, who are not enrolled in Health First Colorado (Colorado's

Medicaid program) and do not have private dental insurance. Grantees determine if a

senior qualifies to receive services under the program.

HCPF is pleased to present our new Senior Dental Program inbox. All inquiries, questions, annual reports, etc. regarding the Senior Dental Program must be submitted to hcpf_seniordental@state.co.us effective Thursday, August 28, 2025. It is important for all emails to be directed to the aforementioned email address as Alondra, the Senior Dental Program Assistant, will be on leave starting in October for approximately six months. While Alondra is out of the office, the State Programs Unit will have access to the inbox. Ensure that all emails are directed to the new inbox email address as emails addressed only to Alondra's email directly will not be accessible to the rest of the team and won't receive a response. October DAC Meeting Cancellation and Medicaid Update

The October meeting of the Senior Dental Program DAC has been cancelled, as there are currently no agenda items scheduled for discussion.



We have received some inquiries regarding the potential impact of Medicaid cuts on the Dental Health Care Program for Low-Income Seniors. The Senior Dental Program procedures nor the amounts will be affected by any current Medicaid changes, the program would only have changes if the procedure amounts were increased and the program's rates fell below those amounts.
