Protecting Your Equity

LARPD Senior Services has partnered with Legal Assistance for Seniors for a FREE monthly series of workshops on various topics designed to educate seniors on issues that impact their lives. 


This month, we will discuss protecting your equity. 

  • Define common terms related to home ownership and provide an overview of risks that could jeopardize ownership or equity.


  • Discuss common financial issues related to homeownership and aging. It also explains the basic structure of reverse mortgages and other types of equity-based loans and examines alternative options.

Vintage Lounge Puzzling Stop by the Vintage Lounge, Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to showcase your puzzle-solving skills and enjoy the fun.


The Lending Library

Open M-F, 9- 4 p.m. You may borrow up to 6 books, enjoy reading in the lounge, or take them home and return them when finished.


Bridge Thursday and Friday afternoons 1 - 4 pm (drop-in fee $2)


Golden Circle Craft Group

This group meets on Mondays at 12:30 p.m. at the RLCC. Bring a craft project to work on.

Services offered: Nail Trimming, cutting, and filing of toenails, corns, and calluses; removing and treating ingrown toenails; and other podiatric services as needed.
