MUSIC PROGRAM Enhances Lives
of Memory Support Residents

As featured in the  Daily Herald

Bob Perkowitz , age 88, has a song in his heart every Thursday afternoon. That’s when he joins his wife of 60-plus years, Jean , for Songs by Heart at Aspired Living of Prospect Heights.

“It’s the highlight of the week for both of us,” said Bob, who lives in Prospect Heights while Jean lives at the memory support community, where Bob visits daily.

Songs by Heart is a life-enriching program offered by Aspired Living’s A Knew Day ® memory support program for those with Alzheimer’s or other forms of memory loss in which a professional singer leads an interactive sing-along with a piano accompaniment.

Aspired Living of Westmont team member and residents participated in the 2019  Walk To End Alzheimer's  alongside friends and family to raise money for a cause that is personal for many of the those at the senior living community.
