Everybody Loves a CARNIVAL !
Cue the clown…and carny games, prizes, cotton candy, corn dogs and snow cones for Azpira Place of Lake Zurich’s first ever carnival extravaganza! The Azpira team’s over-the-top effort sparked residents’ childhood memories of their hometown carnival days while they relived the joy.

Finding Ourselves in ART
Practicing action painting, a technique made famous by Jackson Pollock, Azpira Place of Breton residents randomly splashed, smeared and dribbled paint on canvases to create their own one-of-a-kind abstract expressions.
Breton’s  A Knew Day ®  memory support residents savored a different artistic experience when they took a private tour of the Grand Rapids Art Museum to view masterpieces.

CHOPPED Azpira CHAMPION

Four talented Azpira Place of Lake Zurich chefs competed head-to-head to create a signature burger using a basket of secret ingredients in the first “Chopped – Azpira Style ” cook-off. Three resident judges scored the chefs on creativity, taste and use of all the ingredients in order to crown a champion.

Thanks to Culinary Manager Cinthia Hernandez for cooking up this fun event!

VIVA! Luau

Azpira's signature VIVA! lifestyle is a celebration of life, so why not celebrate Hawaiian style? Great friends and family, delicious food, music and hula dancing made all the guests at Azpira Place of Lake Zurich's Luau feel as though they were transported to the big island.
