December 15, 2020
Dear friends,
Important Update for District 3 seniors and individuals with disabilities who reserved boxes of meals and groceries for this Wednesday: Due to the anticipated inclement weather on Wednesday, we must postpone meal delivery and pick up to a new date, new time and new location.
New Date: Friday, December 18
New Time: Pick up between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. (If you requested delivery, your boxes should be delivered between between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Friday)
New Location: United Baptist Church, 7701 Riverdale Road, New Carrollton
We do expect to have a limited number of extra boxes of meals, groceries and holiday treats for District 3 seniors 60+ and individuals with disabilities of any age available first-come, first-served at the new date, time and location. If you did not make a reservation, but fit these categories and are in need of boxes of food, please come to United Baptist Church, 7701 Riverdale Road, New Carrollton, on Friday, December 18, after 2:00 p.m.
Please note: there will be NO food available on Wednesday at the New Carrollton Municipal Building. All pick-ups and deliveries have shifted to Friday afternoon at the new location.
Volunteers Needed! Due to this change, some of our previously scheduled volunteer drivers are unable to help. Can you deliver boxes of meals to approximately 6 District 3 seniors and individuals with disabilities on Friday afternoon? Please sign up here. By selecting "1" slot you are signing up to deliver to one route of approx. 6 stops.
Please take a few minutes to read the items on the sidebar to the right for numerous opportunities to help others in need this holiday season as well as some safe ideas for holiday fun.

Food Distributions This Week
There are a large number of food distributions taking place this week in and near Council District 3. However, please keep in mind there will be far fewer distributions next week. If you are in need of food, please be sure to attend one of these distributions.
As always, feel free to reach out to a member of my District 3 team or me if we can help you in any way. I am sharing updates regularly on social media, especially my Facebook page. #onlytogether
