HS^2's Vicki Kopidlansky Named Kohl Foundation Fellow
High School of Health Sciences (HS^2) social science teacher Vicki Kopidlansky was selected as a 2022 Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Teacher Fellow. Mrs. Kopidlansky receives a $6,000 grant and HS^2 receives a matching $6,000 grant. Both grants will be paid in early May.
Join us May 3 in the KMHS Campus library at 7 pm for the next KM school board meeting. The agenda will be posted in the coming days.
"Radium Girls" Hits The Stage Tomorrow
KM Drama Club's production of "Radium Girls" by D.W. Gregory starts tomorrow night at 7 PM!

More than 40 students are involved in the telling of this gripping, tragic and true story of women employed to work with radium-infused paint during WWI and their fight for help when a slew of mysterious illnesses present over time.

Written for an ensemble cast, KM's spring production features 20 actors playing over 30 characters with a mixture of warm humor and serious drama. 
Recommended for ages 10 and older.

While Senior Night is just for the KM senior students, the event relies on parental support to make it happen. The Senior Night committee needs to raise approximately $10,000 to keep the event FREE for those who attend.

As shared on JSOnline "The Lasers might get some attention in the state rankings following wins over Pewaukee, the fifth-ranked team in Division 2, and Arrowhead, the ninth-ranked team in Division 1. Sophmore Eiley Henderson had a hat trick in a 5-1 win over Pewaukee on Tuesday. Junior Ava Kacsur finished that match with one goal and one assist. Two days later Kacxur had two goals in a 4-0 win at Arrowhead, while Henderson recorded two assists. The Lasers entered the week with a 4-2 record overall and a 1-1 mark in the Classic 8."

Congratulations, Lasers!
The Lasers extended their winning streak to four with a sweep of Classic 8 rival Muskego on Tuesday and Thursday. They won, 5-0, Tuesday at the Rock. Senior Dan Heikinnen threw a complete game, allowing two hits and striking out 12, while sophomore shortstop JJ Wolbert and junior outfielder Nolan Schopp each had two hits. Two days later sophomore Jonah Roloff pitched five innings and struck out seven before giving way to sophomore Ty Wille, who recorded the final two shutout innings of the 2-0 victory to help the team improve to 6-1 overall and 5-1 in the Classic 8.
