Senior Night Sensations At Southern Wake Academy!

Southern Wake Academy saluted our senior athletes in Varsity Cheer, Varsity Women’s and Varsity Men’s Basketball last Friday evening, January 23. 

In front of a festive and packed crowd, it was an honor to spotlight these special students and the contributions they’ve made to Southern Wake Athletics over the years.

Complete with 50/50 raffles, dominant basketball play and plenty of school spirit, a memorable time was had by all!

Valentine’s Grams may be purchased during morning carpool February 8th-13th. Beta Club members will be located at tables in the high school lobby and in front of the middle school.

SWA Celebrates Career Day On Wednesday, March 11!

The campus-wide event is designed to expose students to a wide range of career paths and post-secondary options as they rotate through a panel of guest speakers. In the process students will learn about the education requirements, daily tasks, and real-world experiences across multiple professions.

Thank you to those who have volunteered!

We would love to include representatives from the fields of healthcare, animal science, agriculture, trades/skills, technology, finance, the creative arts, and more.

We are looking for guest speakers to volunteer on March 11th from 8:30am - 1:45pm. Students will rotate through 5 of the 45-minute sessions to learn about various post-graduation options.

Speakers are encouraged to share information about their career field and engage with students by bringing tools, samples, uniforms, or other props commonly used in their field, and by answering student questions. Lunch will be provided for our guest speakers. Interested participants can sign up HERE.
