Therapeutic Seated Yoga
Yoga has become much more mainstream over the last 10 years and over 37 million Americans practice yoga! A lot of times the yoga that is seen in movies and pictures are extremely advanced, while this doesn't always reflect reality. The main takeaway is don't be dissuaded by the poses you see, as there are yoga poses that fit everyone's abilities. Therapeutic seated yoga does just that, and so much more!

Therapeutic seated yoga, not only allows users to get a workout in, but also the following:

  • Improves flexibility
  • Helps improve concentration
  • Increases strength
  • Boosts your mood
  • Reduces stress and joint strain

These benefits are great for everyone, but therapeutic yoga can go so much further as there have been reports on participants who were told they wouldn't walk again that have regained their ability to walk following their yoga workouts. Not every case is the same, but the potential benefits from practicing this achievable exercise are immense!

Led by a physical therapist and yoga instructor in Trudy, HEAL Wellness and Therapy focuses on taking care of your whole body. By focusing her practice on the quote "Every human being has untapped existing potential", Trudy has a great frame of mind for her pursuit.
