Life isn't always easy, but it doesn't always have to be hard either. There are many quotes and references as to how life is a roller coaster and I think we can all agree that we can all agree that it's true. Thankfully many of us have family, friends and many others who will be there for us, but it might not always be enough. In those cases, don't be scared to look for more help, as you deserve it.

Keep reading to find great resources for your to use for many parts of life and add them to your list along with the various COVID resources we've included at the bottom of the Senior Scoop emails throughout the pandemic!
Important Resources for Seniors
Pennsylvania Department of Aging

Finding resources can be tough if you don't know where to look. Thankfully the state provides a number of resources that are very useful to our seniors. From giving things for you to do to aging services, don't miss out on these resources.
Pennsylvania Senior Resources

According to, there's an estimate that 17% of the population in Pennsylvania are seniors. The best part about the site is that it combines a lot of resources in the same area for ease of access. Items like living situations, finances and senior education resources are all discussed and have links.
National Institute on Aging

The National Institute on Aging not only provides you links to other resources, but is also a good resource in itself! With news that pertains to you, health information and links to other resources (look down the homepage), you have helpful items all over.
The Center for Loss and Bereavement

Lastly is a local company that helps people through grief with counseling, peer support and other trainings. The Center for Loss and Bereavement makes sure that you don't feel alone and that you have what you need to cope with a situation you might be in.
