If you have paper scrip coupons on hand or electronic-scrip (e-scrip) credits in your account, you may call for a taxi or a Lyft-Uber (via GoGoGoGrandparent) to come pick you up. Did you know?



You can purchase both paper scrip (for taxi rides) and e-scrip (for Lyft-Uber) each month. For example, you may purchase $100 worth of paper scrip for $25 AND $100 worth of electronic scrip for $25 each month (or any combination totaling up to 200 scrips. This gives you the option of taking either a taxi or Lyft-Uber in the future.

Can I pay with a debit/credit card when I buy Senior Scrip?

Yes. But you can only pay with a debit/credit card when making a purchase online at www.seniorscrip.org or by phone by calling us at 559-233-4148.

Do I need to schedule my taxi ride 48 hours in advance?

The only taxi company that requires you to schedule your taxi ride 48 hours in advance is Fresno EOC Taxi. For all other taxi services we recommend you book your taxi ride 45-60 minutes in advance, if possible.

The Measure C Senior Scrip Program is operated by the Fresno Council of Governments (Fresno COG) and is funded with local transportation funds made available through the extension of Measure C (a voter-approved ½ cent tax on sales). Since 2008, the Senior (Taxi) Scrip Program has been providing transportation for seniors 70 and older living in the Fresno County region,

at a 75% discount!
