Capital Campaign Update
The first two information sessions for the Opening Doors Capital Campaign took place this week, with great excitement and energy. Other sessions are planned for March 29 in the Chapel (after the 11 a.m. service), and on March 31 at Sharon Towers (at 5 p.m.). Please plan to attend one of these sessions to learn more about the vision and the scope of the campaign.
One question people have asked pertains to the architect's renderings of the sanctuary, particularly the color of the chancel. What is currently pictured is a placeholder for the sake of estimating cost. A construction committee made up of church members is working with a nationally recognized liturgical consultant to ensure that both the material and the color of the chancel are well-suited to our historic sanctuary.
High School Senior Sunday
As they prepare to transition into the next chapter of their lives, our high school seniors will be recognized and receive a special blessing from the Reverend Pen Peery during the 11 a.m. service on Sunday, March 8. Following worship, senior youth and their families will gather for a luncheon in Wood Fellowship Hall.
