Superintendent Stephen Plum visits with KMHS Associate Principal Justin Bestor to talk Senior Weekend plans.
The Kettle Moraine School District has named Justin Nies its new principal of Magee Elementary. Nies will take the helm at Magee July 1, succeeding long-time principal Sue Sterner, who resigned due to health-related reasons. He arrives in KM with nearly 10 years of education experience, most recently in the Whitefish Bay School District as the Associate Principal for Richards and Cumberland Elementary Schools.

“We are thrilled to add Justin to our team at Magee and know he will build upon the incredible work Sue Sterner has done the past six years,” said Superintendent Stephen Plum. “His extensive background in teaching and administration, coupled with his innovative approach and dedication to placing learners first, makes this an exciting time of transition for Magee families.”
"KM Isn't Just Teaching Kids About Science and Math, It's Teaching Us To Grow And Learn - To Thrive In Our Own Environments"
That's what KM Perform's Madeline A. says she wants her community to know about her district. Her life post-Perform? Studying and playing the violin at the University of Arizona. She also had this to say about the leadership and communications skills she developed as a Laser:

"Being a good leader requires communication skills and it's about bringing out the best in other people, not being the best yourself."
