As we proudly present our featured artist Diana Carey

Diana's art demonstrates a grand gestural technique, informed by neo-impressionist pointillism, that lands the viewer in an abstract yet familiar universe. Her intention is to seize chaos, fundamental to the technique, albeit retaining an image: the sky and the sea, a tree, a portal, the sun, a dog. Diana uses sticks and brushes to splash, throw, and splatter paint, layer upon layer, onto a large supine canvas. Her method uniquely evokes each subject's essence, while her artistic mastery resolves not to overly emphasize her subject's identity, allowing the viewer their own sense of completion. Her inspirations are primarily taken from her travels and from her home base in the hills of Fallbrook, California.

Solana Beach Community Beach Cleanup Featured in the San Diego Union Tribune | Wildlife Jewels

On Sunday, August 25th, Wildlife Jewels organized and hosted a community beach cleanup at Fletcher Cove Beach, and we're thrilled to share that our community efforts were featured in the San Diego Union Tribune! This event was part of our Sweep and Learn for Wildlife™ program. Our focus was on picking up debris while educating our community about the threats debris poses to native wildlife and how we can all contribute to protecting our precious wildlife and preserving our beautiful coastline.

We were delighted to see the Solana Beach community come together with such enthusiasm and commitment, making a substantial impact in protecting our invaluable wildlife.
