Preschool News

We had another great week at Preschool. Our friends enjoyed time on the playground, painting, coloring, matching, and imagining. We are learning "all about me" - my family, my home, and my pets. God made us and we are special!

Attention all Youth Parents

Sr Youth, Jr Youth, and Tiny Tots. We are excited to start meeting again on Sunday, September 20th immediately following church.

Be prepared to come and have fun.

See you then

Discovery Music

Discovery Band will start the service by singing My Father's House by Cory Asbury. This song centers on the truth that God welcomes us with compassion rather than condemnation and speaks directly to the fears and lies we all carry.

To close our service and at the benediction, they will offer It Is Well, a song you've heard before, but its been a year ago. This song is based on the familiar hymn, but Kari Jobe makes it a more modern, reflective worship piece. It reminds us that God's peace

anchors our souls. And sometimes, we just need

to be reminded of that.

Please listen to both and sing along!

Our church is in need of a Kitchen Manager to help keep our kitchen running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

  • Keeping cabinets stocked - monitoring supplies and restocking as needed.

  • Using a Sam's Club Card or other card for purchasing kitchen items.

  • Turning in all receipts to Cindy Harding for reimbursement.
  •
  • If you enjoy organizing and helping behind the scenes, this is a wonderful way to serve.

A huge thank you to Linda Ingram and her team, who carried out the plans for our after-church lunch last Sunday! Thank you all who poured your hearts into making lunch so successful. Volunteers set up tables, kept the food hot during service, worked tirelessly in the kitchen, washed dishes afterward, and brought home-cooked side dishes and desserts that everyone was raving about! Also, to those who cooked burgers and hot dogs - what a team effort. Lunch was a tremendous success, and not one person left hungry! The joy, fellowship, and full plates were all because of so many volunteers. We're so grateful for so many servant hearts and the love and time you dedicate to our church family.
