…and just like that, summer is over and fall is upon us. School is in full swing, and new family schedules and rhythms are settling in. In August, we worked with First Lady Sarah Stitt's office and their program "Fostering Back to School Bash!" With their help, we provided over 420 children in foster care with school supplies, backpacks, and new outfits to start the school year with confidence.
A Huge thanks to you, who supported this event and donated items.

Be sure and check out our Treasures of Tulsa fundraising event coming up on October 15th. We’re planning a fun-filled Route 66 themed scavenger hunt at Mother Road Market. I hope you’ll be able to join us!

Each fall, we begin planning for Fostering Joy – which means first securing a site to procure and distribute gifts. We are incredibly thankful and grateful for the businesses who have generously donated the space to us to use in the past. We are actively looking for a location (approximately 10,000 square feet or larger, open space) to hold this years’ program in the Tulsa area.

Please feel free to contact me (csiemens@fosteringconnectionsok.org or 918-742-4947) if you are aware of a business who may be interested in helping provide gifts to over 1,300 children in foster care this holiday season. We will be announcing when our wish-lists will be available soon!

Forever connecting hearts,
