Soccer practice has begun for the 5th to 8th grade students. There is still room to sign up! If your student is interested, please contact Coach Austin Van Belle at, for necessary paperwork and schedule games.

Physical Education will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Please make sure your child/ren come appropriately dressed to participate in these activities.
We are encouraging each student to dress in school colors each Friday. What are the MCS colors? Blue and gold!
Students are encouraged to wear blue and gold clothing and accents that include those colors. What is acceptable besides clothing? Shoe laces, hats (which will remain in the hallway during class), bows, ribbons, jewelry, or anything that is not a distraction to the student or to the class. We love our school and we are proud of all the learning that takes place here. Let's share our spirit!

Spirit Week is taking place in two weeks, Sept. 23-27, to get us excited about our Walk-A-Thon!

Monday - Pajama Day
Tuesday - Beach Day
Wednesday - Crazy Day (hair/sock/clothes)
Thursday - Sports Day
Friday - Fancy Friday (button down shirt, tie, dress)

This Friday, Sept. 13th, TAPP will hold the first Pizza Lunch for the school year. Students have the option of purchasing 1 slice of pizza (either pepperoni or cheese), a sweet treat, and Capri Sun for $4.00. If your child would like a second slice of pizza added, the total cost for lunch is $6.00. Orders must be submitted to the teachers before the students leave for Chapel. If you would like to pay for the entire year, you can submit payment in full to the office (one slice of pizza is $76.00 for the year and two slices are $114.00 for the year) 19 days total for the year.

TAPP's also offers Popcorn Day which will be begin on Wednesday, Oct. 2nd. A bag of popcorn can be purchased for $0.50 or popcorn and a Capri Sun for $1.00. Please send your order and money to your child's teacher at the beginning of the school day. If you would like to pay for the entire year then you can submit payment in full to the office as well (popcorn can be purchased for $7.50 and popcorn and Capri Sun for $15.00) 15 days total for the year.

Prepaid cards will be available in the office for purchase.

Did you leave behind any containers after bringing in food/dish to share during our Annual School Picnic? If you did, please stop by the office and pick them up.

Reminder : New Vaccine Requirement

What Is the Requirement?

One dose of MMR is required for all children age 1 year and older in child care or preschool. Two doses of MMR vaccine are required for all students in Kindergarten through 12 th  grade. A minimum of 28 days must separate the two doses of MMR vaccine, which means someone needing both MMR doses will need one dose given as soon as possible, followed by another appointment scheduled a month from the first MMR dose. Children catching up with the MMR immunization schedule are considered to be in conditional status until 30 days after the second dose of the MMR vaccine comes due.
