September Newsletter

September is a banner month in the park. 

This month we will be hosting our annual Beach Plum Festival (September 11) and the Barrier Island Classic Pro, an adult surf competition on September 16 (No wave day is September 17). 

The next general meeting is right around the corner on October 15. We will be electing a new board, all positions are open for 2017. See more information below.

Join a new tradition of surfing on the Jersey shore

The BIC PRO contest is scheduled for Friday, September 16. The contest is open men and women, 18 years +, longboard, shortboard and all skill levels welcome.

General meeting & Board Elections 

Thanks for all of your support throughout the year. FOIBSP will have its annual election for the 2017 board at the next General meeting.

All board positions are open: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, Membership Chair, and Treasurer. 

We need new board members to keep the organization active and fun! 

Please respond to this email if you can volunteer part-time for a 12 month term to help the park. The rewards are tremendous.
