Message from the Associate Pastor
Welcome Home Church Family!
Sunday • September 04, 2022
Dear church family,
It is hard to believe that the summer is already over, and school is back in full swing! This summer absolutely went by in a flash. I hope everyone had a chance to enjoy some time off and time with family this. It is very important to disconnect from our daily routines to relax and be refreshed. Now it’s time to get back to school and/or get back to work! Not only that, but we need to get busy doing Kingdom work for Our Heavenly Father!
The Word of God tells us that we are to be faithful in certain areas of our lives, and that these should not be neglected. We should be faithful in meeting together. We need to show up! There is so much value in being together! Hugs, handshakes, words of encouragement, and singing praise together are all a vital part of what it means to be the church.
We should also be faithful in serving. God has given each of us spiritual gifts for the purpose of serving the body of Christ. Do you know what your gifts are? Are you using them for the benefit of the body. If you need help with this just let us know on your connect card.
Next we should be faithful in giving. This church operates on the weekly tithes and offerings given by the people who attend here. It takes all of our collective faithfulness in this area to keep our church up and running and all of the ministries properly funded.
Let me challenge you to be faithful in these areas, and we can watch God do great things through our church!
Blessings!
Pastor Mark
