4k Apple Orchard

Our Dramatic Play Center has transformed into an Apple Orchard Market!

Our 4K friends have been having SO much fun pretending to be apple farmers, market workers, and customers. They are practicing taking turns, sharing, using their imaginations, and working together as they “pick,” sell, and shop for apples. It has been so fun watching their pretend play grow and seeing all the creative ways they are using our apple orchard!

Principal's Corner

We have had an amazing start to the school year. Our students have done an outstanding job settling into routines, working hard, and making our school a fabulous place to learn and grow.

Throughout September, our primary focus was practicing The Timby Way demonstrating what it means to be respectful, responsible, and safe throughout our entire building and in every classroom. Students took great pride in practicing and learning these expected behaviors, and we wrapped up our practice with a special visit from Timby himself to celebrate their hard work!

In academic learning, students spent the month diving into math, literacy, science, and social studies. They also showed fantastic creativity and dedication during Specials building fitness habits in Gym, exploring artistic expression in Art, and practicing musical skills in Music. During SEL, Mrs. Barriere spent time with classes helping our students understand how to be respectful supportive members of our school community.

Thank you for your partnership and support during this fantastic first full month of school. We are excited to carry this momentum into October!
