This weekend celebrates two of the things that make fall here so special — the beautiful nature around us and the community we share it with! 🧡

From yoga and storytelling along the Mississippi to kids activities, art, live music, SeptOberfest fun, honoring our veterans 🇺🇸 and an evening movie under the fall sky, there’s a LOT happening during Nature & Community Weekend!

🐾 SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17

9 AM | Phyle Fitness Yoga at Heritage Park. Start your Saturday outdoors with movement, fresh air and beautiful fall surroundings!

10 AM | The Nature All Around Us with Storyteller Kati Knutson at the Riverfront Amphitheater. Presented as part of Wabasha Main Street’s Big Jo Presenter Series

KIDS ACTIVITIES BEGIN AT 10 AM! Heritage Park. Bring the kids and make a morning — or an entire day — of it! Kids Games, Ride-On Animals — Presented by HBC. Giggle Givers — Presented by AmericInn. Face Painting — Presented by Emplify Health. Sensory Table, Pumpkin Painting, DJ Darius, National Eagle Center Mascot. There will be plenty happening around Heritage Park to keep the kids busy while the whole family enjoys a beautiful fall day along the river!

11 AM | Caricatures by Jim at Heritage Park. Presented by Vision Design Group. Get your very own one-of-a-kind caricature to take home!

1 & 3 PM | Pottery Demonstrations at the Local World Gallery

3 PM | LIVE Music at Reads Landing Brewing Co.

4 PM | Oktoberfest Party at Hoppy Girl Brewing Co. Presented by Turning Waters Travel

5 PM | Veterans Appreciation Dinner at VFW in Wabasha. An evening dedicated to honoring and thanking those who have served.

5:30 PM | Miss Wabasha Scholarship Program Presents: Dueling Pianos at The Front Porch Bar & Grill. An energetic night of music and fun supporting the Miss Wabasha Scholarship Program!

7 PM | Spirit of the Driftless Movie Screening at the Riverfront Amphitheater. Presented as part of Wabasha Main Street’s Big Jo Presenter Series. Bundle up, settle in and end the day with an outdoor screening celebrating the incredible Driftless region we call home.

7 PM | JR Larkie Live at the VFW

8 PM | Saturday Night LIVE Music

BJ’s Bar & Grill in Theilman

9 AM | Sunday Breakfast Buffet

Come early with the kids, explore our fall displays, stroll the riverfront, visit local shops and attractions, grab something delicious to eat and stay into the evening for entertainment.
