We work tirelessly to ensure that no one in our community suffers from hunger. Whether a family visits our food pantry only once or comes every week, our services provide a critical safety net for our most vulnerable community members.

Every time a family visits, they receive a week's worth of groceries packed with frozen meats, eggs, dairy products, shelf stable items, and tons of produce. We also give out a week's worth of diapers, baby food, and dog or cat food for anyone that needs it.

We can always use more help or more support! We gladly accept food donations on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10AM-2PM. If you would like to sign up to be a volunteer in the pantry, click here

This month, we had more visits to the food pantry than any other September before. We had 517 visits to our pantry which provided 17,473 meals to our neighbors in need.

Thank you to our supporters and donors whose generosity helps us continue to meet this increased need. This month, we thank HAPCO Farms/Fresh from the Start for donating fresh produce, North Sea Farms for providing chicken wings, Tate's Bakeshop for providing baked goods and bread, Peconic Prime Meats for donating ground beef, and Long Island Cares and Island Harvest for their continued support.

Special thank you to Hamptons Marathon for donating leftover bagels, bananas, and water, and to Athleta Bridgehampton for hosting a food drive during their opening week.

Please consider donating today to help us feed our neighbors in need this month and beyond.

COAT COLLECTION

Please help us to ensure no one is left cold this winter! Last year we distributed hundreds of coats to children and adults. We accept donations of coats and clothing on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 to 2.

Our Assistance Program provides a whole network of services for those in need in our community - including seniors, adults, children, and veterans. We work very closely with local businesses and organizations to connect people with the resources and support they need. A sudden illness can cause devastating financial consequences at times, and we are so lucky to be able to step in and help.

Here are a few examples of what our Assistance Program was able to do this month:

  • Covered rent for a senior fighting pancreatic cancer

  • Provided the security deposit and first month's rent for a homeless woman and her disabled son to move into a new apartment

  • Helped a homeless Veteran move his belongings into storage and paid to have all of his clothing cleaned
