Steel String Guitar Concert with Peter Biedermann
Tuesday, September 20th, 6:30pm, Community Room
Join us for a live performance by Peter Biedermann, a solo fingerstyle instrumental guitarist based in Green Valley, AZ. Peter will perform from his catalog of recordings, take questions from the audience, and provide some of the history and evolution of original fingerstyle guitar playing.

We want YOU for our Fall Craft Sale on Saturday, October 15th, at the Tiverton Public Library Community Room from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Setup is from 9:00 to 10:00am.
We are looking for unique, homemade, non-franchise crafts. Tables are $30 for a 5’ table and $40 for an 8’ table, plus a minimum $20-value donated item from your product line for our raffle. All of our proceeds go toward library programming and museum passes.

Monday mornings starting September 12th, 10:30-11:30am, Bulgarmarsh Park
Meet us by the picnic tables at Bulgarmarsh Park for a leisurely walk around the path and a chat about what you’ve been reading and watching lately. Participants are free to walk and talk at their own pace for a half hour, then join the rest of the group at the picnic tables for a half hour to share what you’re reading lately and give and receive recommendations.
Please bring water and wear good walking shoes. Registration is recommended to receive reminders and updates. This program is weather-dependent. Please register below or check the library's Facebook page for updates and cancellations.

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, our Weekly Watercolor program provides space for you to work on your own paintings, socialize with fellow watercolor enthusiasts, and receive tips and advice from local artist Madeleine Diogenes. Must bring your own equipment and supplies.

The Friends continue accepting donations of books (one bag or small box per library visit please) for the Book Nook. We are sorry, but we cannot accept textbooks, encyclopedias, VHS tapes, or damaged or mildewed books.
Check out the Book Nook, as new items are added all the time. The Specials Tables will feature travel and politics for the month of September.
