UNITE INDY partners with individuals, suburban churches, business leaders, and public officials to mobilize resources to support urban churches, ministries & charities struggling to help those in need.
"Serving The Servants" is all about some proverbial foot washing that UNITE INDY is doing among pastors on the front lines in urban Indianapolis on October 5th.
Through the generosity of a donor who is committed to building bridges across racial and cultural divides, UNITE INDY has invited scores of urban pastors to The Columbia Club to meet and eat together, to focus on them, listen to them, and find out how UNITE INDY can help. We'll report our findings next month!
Can Christians Get Along? Wouldn't it be a sad state of affairs if those who love and follow Christ couldn't work with each other to help those in need in our city? If denominational bickering and punitive judgments were actually the hallmarks of the Indianapolis Christian community? This cannot be. UNITE INDY welcomes all. We'll work shoulder to shoulder with anyone of good will...will you?
Churches Are Fighting Racism by
starting a dialogue about race relations in an attempt to promote understanding of cultural differences.
UNITE INDY is committed to bringing our community together and will make available  free  handouts of its "Building Race Relationships" magazine to churches and others engaged in this effort.
Just call 317-279-6670, and let us know how you intend to use the copies (for small group discussions, to distribute at coffee stations throughout the church, etc.) how many copies you would like to have, and contact information!
Our Story Became the First "What Matters Most" feature by Angela Cain for Boomer TV on WISH, Channel 8. In this short video, Jim and Nancy had the opportunity to tell what lead up to the UNITE INDY initiative and why they are so committed to working with everyone of good will to bring hope to the hopeless in our city. Check it out. Nancy got weepy, but what's new?
