We hope everyone is having a great start to their school year! We're very excited for a safe and healthy return to the maker spaces!
Professional Development Training at the Education Partnership Event
Matt's Maker Space recently sponsored a Professional Training Event at the Education Partnership for teachers of Western Pennsylvania. Through two classes, Recycled Sculpture/Recycled Materials Exploration
and Intro to Cricut, 50 teachers were able to gain experience in these areas as well as Act 48 credit.

We are hoping to provide more opportunities like this for all of our Matt's Maker Space locations.

New Castle's George Washington Intermediate School
This week, we are featuring New Castle’s Maker Space! Their maker space is located in a classroom in George Washington Intermediate School. The space has an industrial-type atmosphere complete with positive and inspirational sayings on the walls and vinyl stickers inviting and exciting students to enter the space. There is also a special shelf to display students’ work for others to see.
