Racoon Rebuff
On Saturday August, 24 eight club volunteers completed the fencing on the deck to prevent further incursion of the critters and cats into the clubhouse!
We were able to finish the job in under 5 hours saving the club the estimated $6,500 that Plunkett's Pest Control wanted to do the job!
The eight volunteers who participated are;

Steve Dunn, Shoveler and Re-landscaper
Joe Morinville, Digger, Raking, Excavation
Tom Ambrass, Stair removal, Replacement and Fencing Installation
Nate Boyle, Heavy Lifting, Hole depth Measurement, Fence Cutting.
Jim Chapman, Fencing Engineer and Installation
Dale Lewis, Materials Procurement, Site Management and Fencing Attachment
Ross Cummings, Lunch Chairman, Pizza Purchasing and Pickup
Gene Soriano, General Laborer, Trash Removal, Recruitment and Email Generator
And, according to Ron Gallagher, we trapped only one cat, Pudge, who needed to be lured through the basement to freedom.
Now we can scratch one project from the 'to do' list.
