Hello Falcons Friends!
Virtual Parent Teacher Conferences:
- We are excited for conferences in three weeks!
- October 15th (3:00-7:30 PM)
- October 16th (8:00-11:30 AM)
- We are anticipating more conference requests than usual because they are virtual. Therefore, we are trying a new registration process to make sure parents and teachers with known issues are guaranteed time slots.
- We promise everyone will have the chance to meet with a teacher whether it happens during the formal conference window or after.
- We will have two registration windows.
- Window #1: September 30th 8:00 AM to October 6th 3:00 PM: Teachers with specific student needs will invite those specific families to register during Window #1.
- The teacher invitation will be sent via email on Monday September 28th.
- Window #2: October 7th 8:00 AM to October 14th 3:00 PM: This will be the usual open registration for all remaining families.
- Before registering, please make sure you understand your student's schedule and you are registering with the correct teacher for the correct subject.
- After registering, you will receive a confirmation email from the teacher with a Google Meet Link.
- Conferences will last for 10 minutes with a 5 minute cushion between each conference. Please be respectful of others and do your best to be on time.
Books & Materials: We understand some students are taking home a heavy backpack every night. Our intention is for students to take home only what is needed for that night's homework; everything else should stay at school. Teachers are confirming these expectations with all classes and also discussing extra storage options at school for those grades requiring it.
Teacher Tribute: Beau Townsend, Inc. awarded St. Christopher School $800 for deserving teachers. Our faculty selected four teachers to receive $200 each: Hollie Bryan, Maura McKenna, Brittany Paulus, and Kim Vore. Congratulations to the winners and a big thank you to Beau Townsend!
40 Days for Life: We started 40 days of prayer this Wednesday and some of our junior high students decorated the front fence.
