Changing Seasons
Daniel 2:21 “He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and
knowledge to the discerning.”
The first day of Fall is September 22, 2026. The new school year has started with our teachers and learners back in full swing. Our Autumn schedules are beginning to fill, and the pumpkin spice will soon be in every conceivable drink and treat. I hope that you will take a moment today, to be present, in THIS MOMENT. I hope you will reflect on the ONE who is in control. I pray you will find comfort in the predictable patterns, and that you will remember to schedule some time with our Creator in this busy season.

Regional Committee on Ministry – October 21-23 via Zoom – Candidates will meet with the RCOM team working toward Ordained and Commissioned Ministry. Contact Kristen at Kristen@grrdisciples.org if you are discerning your call into ministry.

Regional Assembly – November 13-14 – Registration Open –
First Christian Church, Sherwood, AR. Be sure to have your delegates (and anyone who wants to gather to be a witness to the business of the Great River Region) register. We will have worship, business, fellowship, and workshops. This is a great time to come and see the Regional office and meet with your fellow Disciples from across the region.

Pea Ridge Cemetery Dedication – November 14 –
Pea Ridge Cemetery, Highway 15, Lonoke, AR. We will livestream this to the sanctuary of First Christian Church, Sherwood, for those who are unable to travel to the cemetery.
