September 5,2017 City Council Meeting 7 PM
The City Council Meeting for September 5, 2017 will start at 7 p.m. to coordinate with the presenter's schedule for the citizen survey results. Click here to view the agenda.
City News Hour September 11, 2017 Canceled
The City News Hour for September 11, 2017 is canceled. The citizen survey results will be presented at the September 5, 2017 City Council Meeting.
City Offices Summer Hours
The offices will close at 3 pm on September 1st. Normal business hours,8-4:30 pm will resume on Friday's starting September 8th.
Sunset Terrace Update
66th Street to 68th Street
The Contractor will be back filling and grading the week of September 4th.

68th Street to 70th Street
The Contractor will begin work in this area the middle of September. Residents will be notified once a start date is set. Please plan accordingly.

70th Street to 73rd Street
The Contractor will be installing watermain and sanitary sewer services the week of September 4th. When the new water services are connected to the existing service, there will be a time when your residence will be without water. This should be a short period.

If you experience any issues with water pressure or have rust or dark color water, please stop running the water and call Wyatt Klooster, Bolton & Menk, at 563-249-1719. He will assist you with the process. The Contractor plans to works Saturdays if weather permitting.
2017 Sidewalk Improvement Project
Work between 68th Street and Del Matro Court will continue the week of September 4th.

Work between 64th Street and 66th Street will begin Wednesday, September 6th. The Contractor will start removing driveways. Once driveways are removed, they will begin to pour driveways back. Cars are to be removed from driveways by 7 am.

The Contractor will grading and seeding areas that have been completed.

Residents looking for a quote to redo the remaining part of their driveways can call Kingston Services at 515-221-9832. This work will not be part of the project. All work is between the homeowner and contractor.
