Garden Corner
At Eden, learning isn't always from a textbook.
Second grade students were enthusiastic about hands-on learning to kickoff the fall growing season in the Berkeley Hills Garden.

Eager hands filled cups of dirt and planted beans and peas . They are excited to watch for the sprouts to come up and even more excited to plant the seedlings in the garden!
The garden project provides cross-curricular integration, community service, expanded knowledge of nutrition, and connection to God’s created natural world and all He has blessed us with! Students will plant, water, care for, and harvest vegetables that will be donated to a local food pantry. If you would like to contribute to or help with the School Garden, please contact Heidi Polick at  hpolick@edenca.org.
