We are off to a great start, two wonderful weeks in already. Our school theme this year is “Put Faith Into Action” through listening, presence, service, respect, empathy, prayer, modeling and kindness.
We strive to live our daily lives teaching character building skills in each of our students. We strive to model respect, responsibility and tolerance. Peace starts here, in the classrooms, on the playground, at home and in the community. If we want to bring our world to a place of peace, we have to start small – so help us live our goals.
We are happy to have our first all-school Mass on Tuesday, September 14, hosted by our junior high students. Please join us as we celebrate our faith.
We are planning Trunk or Treat again this year! It is a great way to safely trick or treat with familiar friends and families and meet your child’s classmates and parents. Please join us on Thursday, October 28 in the church parking lot from 4:15pm – 5:15pm. Decorate your cars, dress up crazy and fill your trunk with candy! It’s a great time so plan to attend. We will be having hot dogs so no need to worry about dinner when you get home. We are hoping for a large crowd; this is such a fun, family time!
The Parish Festival is upon us. The school kiddos in grades 1 and up will be joining the Praise Choir to make some great music for the 9:00am Mass on Sunday, September 19. The festival will begin after Mass with food, games, beverages and lots of family fun! Please see the packet sent home with your kids today.
We are hoping to have our pilgrimage to Holy Hill later in October so stay tuned!
Have a wonderful weekend!
