Reconciling in Christ Feedback

Reconciling in Christ (RIC) Feedback

As part of St. Mark's Vision 2027 goals, a team from St. Mark’s has been working for more than a year to help St. Mark’s answer questions about becoming a “Reconciling in Christ” congregation through the organization ReconcilingWorks. The Reconciling in Christ (RIC) program is an opportunity for congregations to publicly welcome, include, celebrate, and advocate for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

To join the RIC network, our congregation would affirm this welcome of all God's children by making four public commitments Click here to read details about St. Mark's public commitments and more RIC information.

You will be receiving the linked information in the mail. We are asking for you to communicate your support or concerns by returning the paper feedback form or by submitting a response online. Please submit your feedback to the church office by October 3rd. The office will compile all feedback, remove identifying information, and pass it on to the congregation council for consideration.

Reconciling in Christ Congregational Forum

September 21st @ 9:45 in the Fellowship Hall

Join the St. Mark's RIC team, council members, and Pastor Matt in the fellowship hall for a conversation about St. Mark's journey to be a welcoming and inclusive congregation. The RIC team will briefly summarize the RIC process and the 4 commitments associated with RIC status, with plenty of room for conversation and questions. Don't forget, you can also submit feedback forms to the church office through October 3rd.
