We’re excited to re-launch BeTween, our service and fellowship ministry for 4th–6th graders, beginning Wednesday, September 17 at 6:45pm.
BeTween builds on our Children’s Ministry vision of helping kids:
- Learn — Dive deeper into God’s story and see how faith connects to everyday life.
- Grow — Discover their gifts, build friendships, and grow closer to God.
- Serve — Practice caring for others and making a difference at church, at home, in the community, and in the world.
BeTween is a fun, faith-filled space where preteens feel seen and empowered as they begin to take ownership of their faith journey.
| | | | Whether you’re new to Dayspring or want to explore more about what membership is all about, you’re invited to join us for a new member orientation session next Sunday, September 21, from 11:15am to 12:30pm in Room 112. Please let us know that you are interested in attending by emailing the church office. | | | | SUN DAY CLEAN ENERGY EVENT | Sun Day is a day of action on the Fall Equinox celebrating the power of clean energy. Solar, wind and batteries are the cheapest form of power on the planet, lowering costs, creating new jobs, and strengthening our communities. Dayspring is part of a coalition hosting this Valleywide event in our Fellowship Hall on Sunday, Sept. 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. We’ll celebrate the progress we’ve made and provide ideas on how you can take part. Dayspring member Dr. Clark Miller, ASU’s Associate Director for Faculty and Professor for ASU’s School for the Future of Innovation in Society, will be among the experts on hand to answer questions. Together, let’s make the sun rise on our clean energy future. | | | | |
We’re looking for two assistant volunteers for next Sunday, September 21, from 10:00–11:00am. Assistants support the Sunday School teachers and help the class run smoothly.
What assistants do:
- Welcome kids and help with check-in
- Assist during lessons, supplies, and crafts
- Encourage participation in activities
- Quick tidy-up at the end
Your presence matters—kids feel seen, supported, and safe when caring adults show up.
We celebrate Faith Wagner, Kelly Burmeister, Anne Knuess, and Jolene for serving our Children’s ministry on 9/7. Thank you for your continued support of Children’s Ministry; we truly couldn’t hold Sunday School without your dedication.
Interested? Please contact Jessica Nuñez-LaMarre at 480-773-4176 or jessica@dayspring-umc.org.
