September 11
Honoring Sacrifice and Remembering Unity
On this day, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the extraordinary courage of the first responders who rushed into danger to save others. Firefighters, police officers, medical personnel, and countless everyday heroes demonstrated the highest measure of service and sacrifice, many giving their own lives in the process.
In the aftermath of tragedy, America came together in a spirit of unity and resilience. Strangers became neighbors, communities stood shoulder to shoulder, and the nation reaffirmed its commitment to freedom and democracy. September 11 remains a solemn reminder that even in the face of unimaginable loss, courage and compassion can light the way forward.
