At Tuesday’s meeting, the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors addressed several important issues, including a new labor agreement with local employee unions, 2027 employee health benefit rates, and the County’s response to new state requirements related to cooperation with federal immigration authorities.

Cruisin’ Through Alamo

Supervisor Andersen enjoyed joining the Alamo Improvement Association for its annual Car Show on September 10th. This much-loved community event brought neighbors and car enthusiasts together to admire an impressive collection of classic, vintage, and unique vehicles.

It was a wonderful opportunity to visit with community members and enjoy the strong sense of community that makes Alamo such a special place. A big thank you to the Alamo Improvement Association, participating car owners, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this year’s event such a success!

Supervisor Andersen enjoyed catching up with members of the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office at Valley Station in Alamo

also enjoying the car show. Those cowboy hats weren’t just stylish, they also provided some much-needed

shade in the 100-degree heat!
