Dear Parents,

Please support and attend our Parish Festival this weekend. It begins with Mass at 9:00am, followed by a homemade turkey and ham dinner, games, raffles, bake sale, arts and crafts and family fun! Our daycare OPEN HOUSE will be from 10:00am - 1:00pm. Come on in for a tour. We'd love to show you around!

Monday, September 16

Mill Street will be closed off for black topping by the new daycare addition. Please enter from Helena onto Mill Street from the West, drop off at the gym doors and proceed through the parking lot at H & R Block back onto Helena. Mill Street will be blocked off at Main Street so DO NOT TRY TO ENTER by the fire station as you cannot get through. I apologize for the inconvenience, but am thankful it is only one day at most. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please plan to attend the required SAFEGUARDING class here at St. Matthew’s on Thursday, October 3, from 6-9pm. See the information below on registering for this class and how to become certified for future volunteering, chaperoning, etc. with us.

IMPORTANT NEWS!

All parents and volunteers working with minors in our

archdiocese are required to meet three requirements:

1-Attend a Safe Environment Education Session. This is a child abuse and maltreatment prevention program that must be attended in person. You only need to take this class once.

2-Pass a Criminal Background Check. This check is done before any volunteering with minors and must be done every five (5) years. 

3-Sign the Code of Ethical Standards. This code must be signed prior to beginning volunteering in a parish or school and is reviewed every five (5) years subsequently.
